Grab yourself an e-bike and cruise the Eastern part of Mission Bay. It's absolutely gorgeous there. It's almost as if you're at the San Diego Riviera. I've seen things today that I didn't even know existed although I'd seen them from afar. That's San Diego. It's a golden part United States. Weather always seems to be good people always seem to be nice, I don't think you can catch a better place to live. Now if they would just close the borders.

I practiced open water swimming here in preparation for ocean lifeguard tryouts. The distance between the buoys down and back is a little less than 500m. I was told by a local there a lot of stingrays here though I've yet to see one. The water is relatively clear and deep enough to swim in between the buoys. I saw a lot of families having picnics and get-togethers.

It’s a great little bench you if you can find the car park near it. Lots of sand safe one up and plenty of shade in the sunny days. The water is calm and it’s safe for kids to swim in. Just avoid this area on the very busy weekends because it’s insane and very hard to find somewhere to park even right at this beach.

Nice area to swim and chill between SeaWorld and Mission Beach.

It's a beautiful place to enjoy the ocean breeze. There is a paved multi-use trail around Mission Bay and Fiesta Island which is a 16 mile loop. We rode our bikes around the Bay and along the Mission Beach boardwalk (N of Belmont roller coaster). The trail is great for families. You will have to ride slow and navigate around occasional crowds of people walking. The rules of the trail are ride on the right side unless passing. Most people know the rules and will make way when you call out "on the left" as you come up behind them.
