This is an amazing wine shop, in the old style. It's crammed full of bottles. The owner is knowledgeable and very helpful. I can't believe I never stopped here before! I thought it was a little convenience store. They also have a good selection of spirits. I walked out with some tasty Armagnac and some pear eau de vie, which they helped me pick out. Village Corner is one of the best specialty food, wine and liquor shops I have been to in Michigan. I was looking for Schaumkusse, a German dessert and they ordered it just for me! The price of the item was very low for a whole case. The customer service is personal and warm, like you're one of the family! Great shop for specialty domestic and international goods!!!
