A restaurant with downstairs grocery (?) and take-out (prepared, food) store. Had sashimi silver plate, which came with miso soup which was deeper taste but well-balanced than typical. In fact, I expected good quality food based on the miso soup done well indicates the level of care and thoughts of a place. As expected, sashimi was in general quite good especially the Hamachi (yellowtail). The size of the pieces were relatively smaller than typical - likely because the restaurant seemed to follow more traditionally Japanese style with minimal influence from local propensities, i.e., providing large or larger amount of order by other Janpanese and non-Japanese and non-Japanese restaurants. Even the decore (with partitioning betwwen adjacent tables) reminded of the privacy-oriented decore seen in Japan. Service was also "attentive without being intrusive," again representing the culture of Japan. It was an interesting experience overall though I was a,bit startled at the start of the main as a uninvited guest (fruit fly) flew out of the shredded radish below the tuna. Fortunately, I captured it before it contaminated the fish. Overall 4 stars as I would have been happier with a bit larger pieces of fish.

For what you pay, the portions are fantastic! Nonetheless, I found the food lacking flavor and the interior too cramped. It is a good place for a quick bite, though, and the next-door grocery store sounds nice to visit as well.

Very nice service. Sushi dishes are very great. Fresh ingredients and nice plating. One thing was we ordered the ramen twice. The first bowl tasted good but the second was too salty and the noodle was not chewy. It didn’t bother too much overall. I like the cream soda very much. Highly recommended!!

We stumbled upon this place by accident — no reservation, on a Saturday at 5 p.m. Honestly, I expected to be turned away, but we were greeted with a warm smile and seated almost immediately. The service was outstanding — friendly, fast, and attentive. The beer was served at the perfect temperature (something surprisingly rare in Atlanta!), and the Rainbow Sushi I ordered was absolutely phenomenal. It instantly transported me to the Pacific — I could literally smell the ocean in every bite. It was incredibly fresh, made to order, and you could taste the care put into it. I haven’t had sushi that good in years.

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. The udon is delicious and the Katsu is as well. I've had their sushi, both vegan and regular, it's also good. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I keep coming back. Plus everyone I take here likes it too!
