We had a wonderful experience here. We took the class to learn how to make tea. We made black and green tea and it was the best black and green tea we had ever had. This is a completely different experience from any green or black tea you have ever had before I almost guarantee you. It actually made me realize why people drink black and green tea. If you say you don’t like plain green and black tea, that’s what I said too until today. If you decide to take the class, forget everything you know about tea.. it was all a lie😂. Wayne provided us with so much information we had no idea about. This would be an amazing thing to do with a group. If you decide to do this ask Wayne about his travels he has some amazing stories. After we left we were sitting at dinner and realized we all felt amazing after drinking the tea so we came back and decided to purchase some tea as well as a tea making set to share this experience with some family members who live out of state for Mother’s Day. Amy was very helpful in helping us pick out everything we wanted and needed. From their first hand personal knowledge from their time in china to their genuine passion both Wayne and Amy make coming in a fantastic experience for any customer. There is an incredible selection of teas as well as tea cups and sets and everything you might need. If you have the time I highly recommend taking the class to learn how to make the tea yourself you will definitely get your moneys worth or even just going to one of their tea tastings. If you are a local or simply in the Atlanta area this is a must go in my opinion.

My friends and husband had a great time and I was very impressed with the tea and the knowledge, skill, and personality of Amy who hosted our experience!! She was phenomenal! She kept the whole group engaged and involved, was gracious and friendly, and brewed every single steep beautifully. I can tell she has a very real appreciation and respect for the craft. The tea quality was wonderful and the wood table was gorgeous! It was a true joy to be there today.

If you appreciate diverse traditions and want a new experience, then Wai's Gong Fu Tea House is a must-visit -- whether you love tea or not. Their Monday evening tea tasting was a memorable palette pleasing and informative experience. And if you've ever wanted to learn to play the game GO, you can learn alongside avid players of all levels. It was a fantastic, unique way to spend the evening--great for a solo night out, date night, or small group outing. We had so much fun!

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. I recently stumbled across this place a little over a month ago, and I have been back six times since then. You can tell that the staff genuinely love tea and care about sharing the experience with others. It’s such a privilege to experience. In addition, the entire atmosphere is so calming and relaxing. The tea table is the coolest table I’ve ever seen. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! You’ll be happy you did!

Best authentic tea house in Atlanta. They make you feel incredibly welcome the minute you enter their doors. You pay for what you drink, no tax and no tip (not sure if you can still leave one or not). They spend about an hour with you sharing their love and knowledge for the teas they offer. You sit at a 700+ year old tree stump that's had fountains added to it which adds to the calming/soothing environment. I can't speak more highly of this tea house. And Amy is just an absolute delight. She's so welcoming and kind, and so too are all other staff I've interacted with thus far. They also have a wide array of curated tea sets and supplies for beginners and others you can choose to purchase.
