I am disappointed with the service I have received at Walt’s cycles. I had come in for a basic tune up and getting my chain replaced. The chain replacement was half done, as the chain was not under tension. There was less than half a centimeter length from my upper jockey wheel and where the chain stretches; Walt’s should have adjusted the length of the chain. Upon arrival to pick up my bike, I found the tires to also be barely inflated. Suggesting they didn’t do their promised “test ride” in order to determine everything is up and running good. Walt’s had offered for me to return for a chain adjustment, but this has been the second time of disappointing service, and I do not trust them with my bike. These are not honest mistakes, but rather laziness from the team at Walt’s. I highly recommend an alternative bike shop if you value your time and money.

Got my bike in to have the derailleur/pulley fixed. Staff were helpful, took around ~10 days to have my bike fixed. While things seemed okay initially, when I took the bike out for a ride the quick release on the tire gave way and the break jammed into the tire. Luckily I was okay but this could’ve been a much worse accident. I hope the staff ensures basic safety tests before providing the bike to future customers.

We’ve read the reviews before going, we thought this would be a great place to get our boy his first nice bike. We didn’t expect to have such an unpleasant experience. My husband and I walked in to buy a bike for our son, the gentleman (white guy) that approached us seemed like he did not want us there. I felt very uncomfortable. He was very rude. We walked out, I wouldn’t go back. This was not the service I was expecting giving the reviews.

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. I am an occasional visitor to the area on business. I often travel with my mountain bike. I have been unlucky arriving with flats more than once. Walt's is pretty close to where I stay and is open very consistenly 9:30am to 6pm every day!. Last year I just needed to get the bead seated with compressed air (and buy some CO2). This visit my bike arrived with a flat, AND badly needing a brake bleed. Walt's was able to work the job in to get me riding again. Turns out the rear lever piston was leaking causing the loss of fluid. Replaced the lever, bled both brakes, sealant, valve core, and out the door at a fair price. Thanks Walt's!
