Ok. The only reason I ended up here was because the Dirty Drummer couldn’t get the Bears game. Wanderin had it. So I walked the half mile to one of the best dives I’ve been to in a long time. Friendly servers. Friendly people. I’m from out of town and was treated like a local. The menu is lacking BUT the regular crew brought in ribs and salad and all the fixings free of charge for everyone in the place. Amazing hospitality, and I’m sure not to be expected every day, but super appreciated much the less. And they’re open at 0600. Very cool and fun, even if my Bears lost. Thank you.

EDIT: NOW THEY CHARGE A DOLLAR FOR ANY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD TRANSACTIONS. It does not matter how small or big your bill is, they will charge you to pay. I don't agree with that business practice and usually avoid businesses that do so. I still go here, but I'm sure to bring cash. Read my original review below, but add this to it and you can decide if it's worth it. Most times it's great. Over the years, I have been here several (25x) times. It's like any good dive bar in that your experience may vary with mileage. It's a great dive bar.
