From the moment we walked in we were treated as VIPs. The food was cooked and presented perfect, and when asked about allergies (gluten-free) the individual serving us knew immediately what to offer and suggest. Food wrapped in good preparation and an atmosphere that is intentional creates a full experience. This leads to a small detail that many could miss if one is in rush, but when you slow down and enjoy the experience you see what truly builds atmosphere. This leads me to the man who was bussing tables, Octavia. As I ate I watched as he went from table to table, sitting and prepping each table as if every single detail mattered. You could feel his attention to detail, and it was as if he owned the place he wanted each person's experience to be THE experience! Truly do not let this dining experience slip past you. You don't go to a restaurant for the bathroom, but you might not return to one for the bathroom. No worries here the bathroom is spectacular and the food and service better! All the dishes were timely and really could tell made with fresh ingredients. Only downside for me..the cioppino was a bit too forward spicy hot. Lips and tongue burned particularly with wine. Bread pudding is a will-return-for dish. Portions are generous without being too much. There are private rooms for 10 to 40 people. Bottom line if downtown in Denver near Coors field yearning for seafood this is the place!
