You can do open gym here which is when you go into the gym and play basketball. If you aren’t a member you have to pay. There are sports but they’re recreational. So the best teams are not going to do good in competitive leagues. Also vending machines for food and drinks. So yeah. Four stars.

They seem to have forgotten that what motivates kids is having fun. Lots of pressure and focus on mistakes rather than celebrating along the way. Our kid, and others we know who tried WAYA, wound up burned out and hating the sports they used to enjoy. Add on poor communication, late changes, and high prices. You can do better for your kids than WAYA.

We have 4 kids from the ages of 15 down to 5 and for years (starting with U5 soccer) they have all been involved and continue to be involved with WAYA. If you're looking for a true neighborhood setting in Central/West Austin for your kids to learn to play basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, etc then this is the place. WAYA is great at instilling the love of sports/play in the kids that will positively impact them for the rest of their lives. We couldn't be happier with the impact that WAYA has had on our family...
