All scheduler’s have a very difficult time understanding English and that have very bad attitudes when patients calling are only trying to make appointments to see a doctor. I’ve tried to call the 10th street location and they never give me an appointment. They always claim they are all booked then tell you to call the next morning at 7 am for a walk in appointment but when you call they tell you the same story “they don’t have any appointments” But when I have gone to the health center I see many people sitting in the lobby and hear their names being called and the patient goes to the back to see the doctor. So if I’m being told there is no appointments available most of the times I’ve called then how are these people being seen unless they made appointments!! I have only had success once going to this health care center and every other time I’ve even tried to see a doctor by appointment has been unsuccessful due to the concierge’s (front office MA’s) telling me that my doctor or other doctors have no openings. What a mess!! This is suppose to be a health care clinic in my neighborhood for all people but I can assure you that there is an indifference and bias behavior being shown. I guess I’m better off choosing another clinic with my Aetna Insurance Plan that will appreciate good patients

I have extensive health issues and I was completely taken care of at my first visit. I didn't have to make multiple visits for each issues - which has been the case at other primary care offices. I was allowed to talk about all of my issues and get a plan of care for each issue in my first visit. My provider was knowledgeable, caring, and understanding. I love the care here and will be moving the care of my entire family to Wesley.

Despite the good intent of discounted clinics, I cannot forget the time I was refused service without any help in finding a new clinic. I went without medication for 1 year. It was one of the hardest years in my life. If anyone is reading, please take care of your patients on a human level. They might not know where to start.
