West Coast Dance Complex is an amazing studio! I've been dancing with them for 5 or 6 years now and I love everything about it. The teachers are awesome. The are friendly and supportive, but they also push you just the right amount. The dancers at the studio are super fun and supportive too - no drama here ... I've made some really good friends over the past few years. WCDC offer a ton of classes across all different types of dance including Pom. I'm a part of Team and also a part of Ballet Academy and I enjoy both. They also have a new leadership program where students can serve as demonstrators and/or Teaching Assistants (depending on age and level) which is a great opportunity. If you haven't already been, stop by and do a Free Trial week - you won't be disappointed!

Three years ago both my daughters showed an interest in dance. I was more than happy to add this into their schedule as a hobby. Little did I know that the incredibly talented instructors at West Coast Dance Complex would not only spark a passion for dancing within both children, they'd ignite a love for the arts as a whole. Each teacher has their own unique way in connecting with, and empowering, these young kids within the sport of dance. Each teacher blends their love for dance with kindness & compassion, yet instilling a sense of discipline and accountability. Self love, and a love for your peers, is a top priority within the culture at West Coast. Dance can be a competitive environment. A top reason that I continue to invest in this studio is that the teachers, and older more experienced students, make it a priority to instill confidence, grace, and support/compassion for the younger classes of kids. This adds a layer of community that means a lot to me as a parent. I could go on and on and on BUT I think it's clear - we adore this studio!!

My 12-year-old daughter has only been with West Coast for five months since transferring from another school, but the growth I’ve seen in her during that short time has exceeded all expectations. Her technique, flexibility, and core strength have all improved so much. But even more than that, her confidence and joy have blossomed. She genuinely looks forward to each class and always comes home full of excitement and stories about what she’s learned. Absolutely Terrible Experience – Do NOT Waste Your Time Trying This Place! I cannot express enough how horrendous my experience with this dance studio was. I signed up for a trail for my daughter who is not quite 4 years old and I specifically asked if parents were allowed to stay with their children. I was told that was “absolutely allowed for all children under 6”. Imagine my surprise when I showed up and was told that was NOT the case. I was told I could wait outside and view from a small and very dirty window. I can’t comprehend how they can expect a child under 4 to be okay on their own in a new environment and in a room full of strangers. Oh but it gets better, right as we were leaving I got a text from my husband saying “this place is gross” and he was right. From the moment we walked in, the place was filthy and disorganized. They explained that they were preparing for recitals but I don’t understand how that would mean they couldn’t maintain basic cleanliness. It's beyond me how they can call themselves a "studio" when basic cleanliness seems to be a foreign concept to them. The instructors also appeared to be not of legal working age so I’m curious how they get around child labor laws. I would NEVER recommend this studio to anyone. There are so many other places where children can learn in a clean, respectful, and professional environment. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this dump. Save your time, money, and sanity.
