We have previously loved West Marine and are gold members but won't be shopping there any longer. We purchased an expensive boat speaker that we realized won't work for our boat. Waited three days too late to return and their policy is now hard/fast for return. Understand that it is our fault for not making time to return sooner, but at the end of the day, store credit would have been nice for loyal customers.

I went to return a $1200 radio we bought on sale. Wen I was returning it they gave me absolutely NO slack. What they did give me, contrary to their rules, is all my money back. Bring ur recipets. Returns r welcome for 90 days. Great store. Bidenomics expensive, but that can't deprecate the store by any means whatsoever. Have fun! When u feel like the fun is gone, LAUGH AT THAT and ur fun will return!

As a neighbor AND customer of West Marine for over 12 years, as of this morning, NO LONGER. I am not sure what has changed at this location over the last year or so, but I can only say its gone TREMENDOUSLY downhill. I have always tried to advocate for this store (since its literally my neighbor) but no longer. The management there is borderline rude for no reason. I have personally waited and got ignored at both the sunglasses AND fishing reel counters for over 20 min. And don't get me started on their pricing. There are many, small, LOCAL fishing shops in Point Loma that deserve our loyalty much more than this big box chain. They also treat their neighbors SUBSTANTIALLY better than the management here. No longer will I pick up the homeless trash you like to leave around your building or the COUNTLESS piles of unbagged dog poo you just ignore. And PLEASE call your landscaper. Point Loma is tired of looking at your overgrown grass, trees and hedges. Have a little more respect for the neighbors. (Nevermind, you won't. You like to pick unnecessary fights with them instead)
