West of Lenin is such a special place. I attended a play, which was fantastic. But this facility felt like a secret playhouse. The building is unassuming but close by great bars and restaurants. The staff were all very friendly. Nice snacks at intermission too. And if you didn't buy a ticket in advance, they will try to fit you in at the door. Tickets are reasonable and support the community. There is also sometimes weekday discounts, so check on the website.

Cool little indie theatre in Fremont. I've seen some great productions here, and some downright terrible ones. It's a great place to see up and coming voices and to support the local arts community.
