Here's what people think of Western

As of recent, Western holds a 4.2-star rating based on 28 reviews.

Reviews of Western present a mixed picture that highlights both strengths and significant challenges. Positive feedback often emphasizes the rewarding nature of the work, solid training programs, good compensation, and benefits that employees value highly. These aspects point to Western's commitment to investing in its workforce and creating an enriching work environment. Particularly, commendations for management and the overall company culture indicate that some locations or teams experience supportive leadership that enhances job satisfaction. On the other hand, negative reviews raise concerns about poor communication, unstable management, and a toxic culture that some employees have encountered. Specific issues mentioned include lack of employee support, arbitrary firing without warning, and discrepancies in promised benefits like health insurance and paid time off. Some employees also cite a disconnect between ownership priorities and employee welfare, contributing to a high turnover rate. The divergence in experiences suggests that while Western has strong points, there are areas needing improvement to ensure consistent employee well-being and job security. Overall, the reviews portray a company with solid potential and some excellent attributes but also caution prospective employees to consider the variability in management and workplace culture.

This station has amazing views of the skyline, especially at night. This combined with the rhythmic industrial beat from the factory across the street makes Western Pink Line the most atmospheric L station. The station is modern, clean and accessible. It doesn't have a coffee shop at the ground level like Damen does, but it has a cool mural.

Safe on Platform not so safe if waiting for western bus in front. Don't stand on western with your cell phone in your ear day, dreaming you will be robbed. MULTIPLE SHOOTINGS AND MURDER HAVE OCCURRED WITHIN 1 BLOCK OF THE 21ST AND WESTERN STOP. caution if you walk down 21st towards Rockwell st. Homeless camp is under viaduct and many of them are drunk and use drugs in the open. Tents block the sidewalk so if you use a wheel chair you take your life in your hands. If you are a female alone after dark avoid walking on 21st toward rockwell. GOOD POINT WESTERN BUSES COME OFTEN AT NIGHT.
