I've been several times over the last year with my girlfriend and have even taken a couple friends, because the food is really good and the atmosphere is beautiful. It's nice to have restaurants in Morgan Junction, and I want to support them. I keep hoping the service will get better, though. It feels like inconveniencing the staff to be there. Last time we went, I had a similar experience to another reviewer, when the server threw the menus on the table, slammed down the water, then walked away. It went downhill from there. I figured the person may have been having a bad day, but if I'm being totally honest, the staff seems grumpy every time; so maybe it's a general vibe there. There has been one bartender/server who has been kind so far, and he made an incredible cucumber martini. Hopeful for improvements in the welcoming feeling. From reading reviews, there are others who have felt more welcome, so we will give it a few more tries.

It's a pretty cool bar located in West Seattle. The interior is very spacious, and they have a great selection of whiskey and bourbon to choose from. We ordered a sampler of cheese curds, tots, and onion rings to share. I tried the Bright Lights, Big Bourbon Sour, and it was refreshing. I also tried a pour of Parker's Heritage, and that was delicious.

1-Star Review for Whisky West – Worst Service Experience Our group stopped by Whisky West on July 8th around 5 PM for an early dinner. The restaurant was nearly empty, so we expected quick and friendly service instead, we were met with blatant rudeness and zero hospitality. The moment we sat down, our waitress threw the menus onto the table without a word, letting one fall to the floor. She didn’t apologize or even acknowledge us just dropped them and walked away. When she came back with water, she still didn’t speak, not even a simple "Hello" or "I’ll be right with you." At no point did she introduce herself, ask if we needed anything, or show the slightest bit of courtesy. It was as if we were an inconvenience rather than customers. The complete lack of professionalism and basic manners was absolutely ridiculous. We decided to leave before even ordering; why stay somewhere that clearly doesn’t value its guests? Save your time and money. There are plenty of other places in town where you’ll actually be treated with respect. Whisky West should be ashamed of this kind of service. Never coming back.
