I've driven by this place hundreds of times and always wanted to check it out; so, when the GPS suggested this one on our hunt for a park I was stoked to finally see it! However, we were genuinely confused by this place, as it's a public park (?) area in a very-much-private, upscale neighborhood. There's literally no parking. We drove through trying to find something, anything, but there's nothing. You either walk here because you already live here, or were walking along Belt Line Rd anyways. Despite the obstacles, we persisted out of spite. We parked at a business across the incredibly busy street (be careful: there's no pedestrian safety anywhere nearby to assist in that crossing). It was quaint. Very green and muddy, after all of this rain we've been getting. There are benches, a cute gazebo, and a little perch spot for what seems like fishing. The trail stops here, as its mid-point. The trail itself is shaded and lovely, winding through the nice neighborhood. Just be sure to stay out of the private property areas lol.

White Rock Creek Trail is a small, quiet trail that’s good for a quick walk or run. It runs through a neighborhood, so it’s peaceful but not very scenic. You get glimpses of White Rock Creek, and the wooden animal sculptures along the trail are a nice touch. However, the trail is short, so if you’re looking for something more challenging or longer, it might not be the best fit. Overall, it’s a good option for a brief, low-key outdoor activity.

I believe that I got some great pictures during my hike. The trail is in a nice area; there's beautiful homes, lots of shade, and it's nice to see the layers of earth on the side of the trail. I did not like that google maps could not direct me to an area for me to park. Maybe the trail was built to be easily accessible just to those who live in the area. It would be great if the trail had people to clean it up. There's trash along the entire waterway, a loose dog, and piles of branches that have either fallen or been cut down.

Parking is a little scarce; I ended up at a business up the hill on a corner lot and walked down. Took my 2 dogs, this park is nestled behind a beautiful community of homes. The trail is wide shaded and wooded. There are several steep drop offs but one that I found we could climb down with rock stairs. The stairs are a bit steep. I had my 2 dogs with me they were able to go down to the water for a bit also. Beautiful area.
