Some here claim that this place is the best Mediterranean shop, but it is far from it. And the Mediterranean is not only Morocco or Tunisia... Turkey, or Lebanon. But it is known that customers who are mainly from these, first mentioned countries (or reviewers) who are not very literate in geography. The Mediterranean is also France, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Greece...World food warehouse where world is not represented at all. Best selling products were from Balkan countries and they now only have a few products left. Coffee, some wafers and that’s it. Most product have expired dates. Obviously, owner decided to sell and promote only Middle East countries. This place is quite untidy, boxes are scattered on the floor, some thrown on a shelf with doubtful weight capacity, overhead that could fall on someone, unhygienic, dirty and I don't know why the sanitary inspection didn't close this place long time ago. I guess the prices are missing on many products and even where they are stacked on the shelf they are mixed up or labeled on the wrong place. I started buying stuff online and I’m very pleased. Places like eurofood deals or eurofoodmart… are excellent choice.

I have been coming to Worldfood Warehouse when it originally opened under the Pakistani ownership. The gentleman that owned it was a very nice, down to earth hardworking guy. Since than the ownership has changed but the place has stayed true to its roots: bringing good ethnic food at reasonable or wholesale prices. I like this store a lot and you can find so much variety in this store that is hard to match. They have Pakistani, Indian, Iranian, Turkish and Arabic and anything in between food. They have fresh food and hot off the grill food. Meat is of excellent quality and due to so much turnover it is always fresh. You can get any cut and even have it custom cut to how you want it. Fresh pita bread is made on site on specific days. You can track the schedule and get oven fresh bread on demand. Tandoori bread was available today. A square paratha is the traditional style paratha and its always fresh and carries the original Punjabi taste. Its simply marvelous. They have barbari bread and small packaged pitas for sandwiches. Oh what delight and feast for eyes. In the hot food section the samosas and Biryani... a luxury Pakistani dish... is really good. They used to sell that Biryani platter for $1.99 but those days are long gone. Biryani taste is authentic and a heaping order of Biryani now cost $10.00 which is still a reasonable bargain. The taste is authentic and its always fresh... all made in-house from scratch. I have seen them make it. The fresh produce section has gotten bigger over the years. Everything you could want is available and more. Things lots of people may not have seen or heard of before. The cheese and olive section has excellent variety and you can get the exact measure you want. This is an extremely busy place and Parking can be tough. But come here with open mind... to try something new... a new flavor a new dish to make or just to browse. You won't leave empty handed. Yes... cleanliness can be improved by a lot but at times it looks the way it does only because its jam packed with merchandise. If you visit this joint with an open mind... people are very welcoming and you will be hooked.
