Had a great brunch with friends at Yardbird. We got a last minute reservation, and had no issues with seating. I had the shrimp and grits bowl, and it was good. It was different to have eggs in the dish itself, but it tasted good. My friend got one of the cinnamon rolls to share, and I'd recommend eating while hot. As the meal progressed it wasn't as soft as I'd like for a cinnamon roll. The atmosphere was upscale but relaxed and servers checked in regularly.

Ok…I have been here twice within a month. I had to go back to see if it was a fluke and it wasn’t. I want to go back to try other items! The first time I went I had the chicken and waffles. I must say the chicken was seasoned perfectly, the waffles were delicious and fluffy and the side of watermelon made it refreshing. You have to get a side of the honey hot sauce. I need a bottle for home. I went back and had the chicken biscuit sliders. It came with a side of pickles, pickled okra and pickled onions. I don’t even like pickled onions and I ate them. The hash browns were a little on the hard side but so flavorful. Lastly, I ordered cinnamon rolls to go and ate on them for three days! It was a large serving. The servers were great and this place is very classy. Its location on the corner is perfect!

We were looking for a quick place to eat when we got in town for the Beyoncé concert on Saturday May 17 after a long road trip. Yardbird had just what I wanted breakfast even though we had arrived around 2pm. I opted for the All American Breakfast with scrambled eggs rather than over easy, sausage, bacon, hash brown and toast. It was a huge amount of food. Everything was tasty except for the hash browns..that was the only negative.I didn’t care for the taste. Coffee was very,very good so I had to get a second cup. Others in my group had the skillet cornbread, avocado toast,whole lobster Mac n cheese, over easy egg with shrimp on grits, and y’all the “Little Gem Caesar salad was AMAZING! I wish I had ordered that..but I got to have a taste and wow..was it delicious!!! Order it you will not be disappointed if you’re a salad lover like me. The servers were attentive, polite and very efficient. I definitely recommend Yardbird in Chicago. The food is delicious and the service is professional. I only gave a 4 star for food because I disliked the taste of the hash browns..but that’s my personal taste.. try it for yourself..you may like it.

Went to yardbird for the first time for a Easter brunch and it was a fairly decent experience. First I want to say the service was great, our waiter was phenomenal and we got sat right away with no wait. The atmosphere is very well put together too. The food started off amazing but then went kind of downhill. The appetizers we got were amazing. Like unbelievably good. We got the toast, and the biscuits and wow they could charge me double next time and I would probably pay it. That’s unfortunately the extent of good food that we got. For entrees I got the Mac and cheese skillet, and the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Both were pretty unimpressive. The skillet was very sloppy and the Mac and cheese just completely overwhelmed everything else in the skillet. The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were just unsweetened and bland with also an artificial taste. Other people in my party ordered the biscuit French toast, the chicken sliders, the cinnamon roll, and an omelette. The biscuit French toast was undercooked and mushy on inside. The chicken sliders were decent but lacked flavor also. The cinnamon roll was like not sweet at all which was just plain odd and the omelette was forgettable. Overall the experience was fine but the food forsure can be better. Maybe dinner is more of their thing 🤷🏽‍♂️. Oh their drinks were great tho, so shout out the bartender and who’s ever curating their drink menu !

My husband and I decided to dine here on a whim. The food and service were very good! Upon entry, the ambiance and decor were very inviting. Our waiter ( I think his name was Ty) was very attentive and offered good suggestions. At the end of our meal, we were offered a dessert on him, complete with champagne and sparkles! We felt like Royalty- that is until we read the reviews and discovered we weren't the only patrons who received this treatment, which cheapened our experience because it almost made it feel gimmicky. We would still go back though, as there are other dishes we'd like to try.
