Yoga Hangar Review 🏟️ If you have a car, do yourself a favor: pick a different Yoga Box location. The YogaBox instructors are great when you can actually see or hear them. The new North Park studio is a cavernous echo chamber. You’ll spend half the class guessing what’s being said and craning your neck to find the teacher. And the space is so oversized it feels like warm yoga, not hot yoga. To ownership: congrats on the expanded portfolio, but this isn’t brand consistency - it’s brand dilution. I’m sure all those extra mat spaces looked great on a spreadsheet ($$$), but this studio delivers a noticeably worse experience than your other locations. 👎

Despite their supposed “5 minute grace period,” it’s 6:01AM and I’m already locked out of the 6AM yoga sculpt class at the North Park location. I was waiting outside in the cold in hopes the instructor would realize two people were missing from her class, when another paying member came to find out she was already locked out and let down at 6:03AM. This is extremely frustrating for anyone who makes an effort to commute to a workout class– especially this early in the morning. Yogabox needs to improve their policy. 5 minutes is fair, but only if it’s enforced. If you need people to arrive by 5:55 to begin at 6, then say that. If there is no grace period at all, then make that clear! This is the 3rd time I have arrived within the 5 minute grace period and still been locked out, which is why I’m leaving a review.

I LOVE the classes, the teachers, and the heat. But popular class times (6am & 5:30pm) are booked solid two weeks in advance. The issue is that too many people who aren’t sure if they’ll attend book anyway, then cancel last minute— by asking teachers to remove them a little before class without penalty, which goes against policy. I wish they would always enforce that policy, but anyway... They still get 5 stars.

Great work out with wonderful, experienced instructors. This is hot yoga and some classes are advanced so bring your water and your energy. The new North Park location is huge and very hot!! Stay hydrated!

I love the power vinyasa classes -- always a great work out and a good flow that keeps things interesting. I love that there's usually a sneaky bit of core work in every class too. Great studio, very clean, friendly, I definitely recommend it!
