I can not say enough good things about Yoga Refuge. Tracy's yin yoga class is always a highlight of my week. All of the teachers are wonderful but Tracy's class is especially nurturing and grounding. I also love the gentle yoga offerings. I've also really loved attending their special events, such as the sound baths with yin or restorative yoga. The space is so beautiful and calming and I always try to grab a spot right by the windows and plants! If you are thinking of trying Yoga Refuge, don't hesitate, you won't regret it! Come fill up your cup!

I absolutely love this studio. I have been coming for several years now and at first I only did the Sunday class. When I started we were was coming out of that initial Covid time and I still did some yoga through an online program. I completed a 2 year teacher training in Anusara yoga 20 years ago and though I never consistently taught, I am pretty picky about being taught yoga. I finally committed to coming to Yoga Refuge regularly and trying other classes and I’m so happy I did! There are some amazing teachers and I think enough different styles to fit everyone. And it actually is affordable yoga! I’m so glad this is in my neighborhood and it doesn’t hurt that I work across the street, but I have been to many yoga studios over the past 20 plus years and this is my official fave. What a gem!

I randomly tried a class at Yoga Refuge last October because it is close to where I live in Montavilla and have been going back several times a week ever since. With many teachers of varying backgrounds and different class types to choose from, plus a room full of props for support and modification, this inclusive studio has something to offer every body of any level/ experience (except bodies that can not climb a flight of stairs, the only drawback to this beautiful, wood-floored, plant-filled space -- although there are also a few on-line options). From heat-generating hatha flow to down-regulating yin to yoga nidra, I have yet to find a class or teacher I don’t like (though I do have my favorites). The Yoga Refuge has become an important part of my grounding, growth, healing, and community as a human being in modern times. If you’re interested in yoga, you should check them out!

I have been going to Yoga Refuge for about a year. The studio space is clean, welcoming, and pleasant. I have taken classes primarily with two of the instructors and a few subs, but every experience I have had has been incredibly positive. I have especially enjoyed the prenatal and post-natal classes taught by Jenna. Jenna is kind, welcoming, and fosters an amazing community-building atmosphere. She tailors each class to the needs of the students, and provides a good balance between challenge and restoration. I am grateful to take classes here and recommend the studio to people of all levels of practice.
