Specialty Japanese Udon shop, serving delectable cold and hot noodles. The menu focuses on their core, made-from-scratch dishes with a few varieties. This results in a high quality, tasty end product. Enjoyed the cold spicy niku udon with sliced green onions, tempura bits, thinly sliced beef, and a house secret spicy chili / oil sauce. The dish was refreshing and satisfying (without weighing you down). Pleasant and attentive service, with fairly quick turnover of their tables. Since there are no reservations, expect to stand in line until a spot opens up (the line starts outside the restaurant door, so a decent number of people can stand in line inside the cool building).

Yume Ga Arukara is a Japanese restaurant specializing in Japanese udon, with a limited menu that enhances the quality of the dish by putting all their focus onto said menu items. The staff are friendly and make the food quick, and they kept their eye closely on stuff such as more water or other items. We got the Cold Spicy Niku Udon and the Hot Niku Udon. The Hot Niku Udon was good, very flavorful and wasn't too oily. Lots of meat and a good portion for the price. The Cold Spicy Niku was the highlight, as the cold broth went well with the udon, and had similar portion sizes as the Hot version. I think the Cold one ws a little better, but the meals here are well worth the wait.

Amazing refreshing udon! Ive been back twice and like the spicy cold niku udon the best. The broth is very light, the meat is flavorful, and the udon is chewy and smooth. The cold udon comes properly chilled so its super refreshing Kind staff, they are efficient at taking orders in line so ive never had to wait too long. No vegetarian options

I was excited to eat here because a friend had recommended it. When I arrived, the line was extremely long and wrapped around the walls of the building, but it moved at a decent pace. As we got closer to the front, a staff member came by to take our order. Once we were seated, our food came out very quickly. I ordered the cold udon because I saw it was their specialty, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold yet refreshing. My friends ordered the hot udon, and while I tried a bite, the cold one was definitely the way to go, it had so much more flavor. I really enjoyed my meal. I usually never finish an entire bowl of ramen or udon, but I finished every bite because it was that good! I definitely recommend this to anyone who usually orders hot udon. Cold udon has truly changed my life!

back again after the location switch! It's in the same building but a different venue now, a "real" restaurant rather than a hole in the wall. It's nice that bigger, more seats --> wait is much more accessible, but some of the intimate experience has definitely been lost. Nobody calls out "perfect" or "good job" or "better next time" or whatever after each meal anymore. Regardless -- servers are kind and udon is still delicious!!! I slurped this one up with record speed
