Scenic upstairs setting overlooking the lan su gardens. Tranquil atmosphere with the chirping of a variety of birds in the background. Teahouse is air conditioned and offers both iced and hot teas. The price for tea and dessert is very reasonable. Worth a visit, but plan time to enjoy the juxtaposition of a peaceful garden inside the hustle and bustle of the city.

The staff and ambiance were amazing! I stayed the for so long. However, I didn't love the price ratio to what I got. Would still recommend, though.

Staff are very friendly and helped us pick out a couple of different teas they thought we might like. Tea was delicious and the view from upstairs was relaxing. They have food as well and the moon cake went perfectly with our tea. Prices are very fair considering you need to pay to get into the garden. Would definitely go again for the chill vibes and delicious tea(they've also got beer if you're so inclined).

The tea house was redone in early 2024, and it's such a beautiful change! They offer several different menu items that cater to everyone's taste. Most of the items are gluten free, and it's a peanut free restaurant. If you wanna explore tea, the waterside tea tasting is fantastic. You can sit upstairs and see something new each time you come here. The staff are very friendly.

Congratulations to the Lan Su Chinese Garden team for their first ever wildly successful Shoes Off AANHPI Comedy Night in the Yun Shui Teahouse on 5/23! It was a sold out show of 60 people packed the second floor of the Teahouse. The upstairs restroom was use for the green room tonight. The Yun Shui Teahouse was transformed into a cozy intimate community space full of laughter! I cannot wait for the next show on 5/30. I'm rooting for them. Fingers crossed they continue to partner with Kick Stand to curates live comedy with a focus on quality, community, and unique voices to make it into a regular venue at the garden. As a member, I would love to see it offered monthly. It was definitely worth it for $28 per ticket for 21+ audiences. The three comedians were hilarious, lively with relevant content. The two MCs were spectacularly entertaining as well. My favorite comedian tonight was Juno Men; I laughed so hard at most of her jokes! The menu for comedy night was limited to 3 snack items: vegan popcorn, lotus moon cake, and miso rice ball for quick turnaround. Some can juice, sparkling water, and more choice for alcohol. Perks: -FREE parking downtown after 7pm, and you can also park for free on their lot behind the garden. -You can stroll through the garden and enjoy the serenity with much less people for an hour before the show. -Yun Shui regular and seasonal menus are fun, refreshing, and delicious small dishes snacks.
