I was here yesterday, 7/7/2025, to buy some cookies. At the cashier, i paid in cash and the cashier gave me changes including some coins. I noticed that one of penny he gave me uselessly black and he knew it too. He was keep glancing at me, I pretended not knowing it because it was just a penny. Normally, I would drop coins at the cashier, but his such behavior refrain me from doing do! Poor cashier with poor minded!!!!! I like to believe he made a mistake accidentally. However, my experience with Zannato was not pleasant anyway!

Zanotto's is an excellent local community grocery store. Their produce is always top notch. They have an AWESOME cheese selection. I love their butcher counter where I can get exactly the amount of meat I need in my own container so I don't create excess plastic waste. They have fantastic organic bread delivered daily from The Acme Bread Company. They may not be the cheapest but everything they carry is very high quality. I can also shop there with my bike rolled inside as my shopping cart so my shopping is quicker than by car and there is no risk of my bike or its accessories getting stolen. I am sad that they no longer have any bulk food options for oats and nuts.

I love being able to step into a store that carries a wide variety of delicious food items like ravs from Willow Glen's La Villa Deli, Marianne's ice cream, along with multiple to go snack boxes that are perfect for cocktail time/noshing. Their cheese selections don't disappoint and the smoked salmon, baguette sandwiches, and desserts are incredibly good 😊. Oh, they also have tasty gelato and sorbet that can be scooped in a cup or container for later. Outdoor seating is available.

Let me start by saying that Zanotto's is a wonderful neighborhood market and the butcher shop has the best meats. Their fruits and vegetables are really good too! They also carry some Olson's products as well. In the past we ordered the Turkey in the bag for Thanksgiving which was really good and so were the creamy mashed potatoes and also the traditional sage dressing. The only issue we had was with the turkey gravy. For Christmas we ordered a 12 lb. Prime rib in a bag with some sides. All I can say is that after my wife cooked it, the Prime rib was very delicious. With the leftovers we had a couple of more meals, French dip sandwiches and Prime rib chili and both were really good. Even after having some of the meat in the freezer, we recently had Prime rib chili again and it was still very good.
