Zilker Park in Austin is a perfect blend of city and nature. The skyline views from Lady Bird Lake are stunning, especially with all the paddleboarders and kayakers cruising by. The trail is shaded, peaceful, and lined with greenery great for walking or jogging. I found a bright red wildflower that made the moment even more special. Whether you’re into outdoor workouts, picnics, or just want to relax by the water, Zilker has something for everyone. It’s lively without feeling crowded and offers a real sense of escape right in the middle of the city. Definitely a must-visit when in Austin.

Ok. Great views, but lots of trash. Not sure why the city neglects this popular site which is visited by many tourist. I also got the feel that petty crime is rampant. Glass is visible from broken car windows. Don’t leave valuables in your car. The city has to do better!
