I was super disappointed with my trip to the creamery yesterday. I specifically went there because I had questions on cheeses made with rennet vs enzymes and wanted to discuss what would pair well with the other foods I had planned. I was the only customer in the store and when I asked about rennet the two people working looked at me like I was speaking Latin. They were extremely unhelpful and didn’t seem interested in trying to find answers. I felt unwelcome and like I was a burden. Then I asked about pairings but one of the workers could not stop commenting on my shirt and asking what other detroit sports I was into while ignoring my cheese questions. Then when I was checking out the sports fan asked his coworker if I got any discount for spending over $100 or because it was my birthday and she just rolled her eyes and shrugged. I left feeling uncomfortable and overwhelmed. This was not at all the interaction I was expecting from zingermans and honestly I’m disappointed in myself for spending so much money after not being helped at all. Horrible experience overall and I will never go back. Oh and I got home to discover one of the hard cheeses had a huge patch of mold (that wasn’t supposed to be there) hidden underneath the label. I thought about calling to see if I could return it but the employees were so rude I just didn’t want to interact with them again

Small little quaint cute little shop wonderful helpful customer service explaining everything. I got some lemon curd sorbet and dark chocolate gelato did not get any of the cheese but they make some of it in house definitely recommend this establishment if you're stopping by at the bakery.

The cheese selection is very nice, but their ice cream is great. I tried their paw paw flavor during my visit, and I loved it. I normally like the fruit quite a bit, but it is an uncommon flavor. It was awesome to find it here. I'd definitely make a trip just to try it again.
