What a cool spot with a cool vibe! I came in just to have their baklava coffee, which is so good and ended up getting a few appetizers for happy hour. Three appetizer items for $22 for happy hour, can’t beat that. Also, I treated myself to a freshly squeezed juice called the sunrise. There are people coming in after work, just having a drink, meeting up with friends, there were some business meetings, everyone was there! Their servers were really awesome, and they were on top of it. My cup never ran low water because the servers were refilling my cup every time they walked by. The french fries were really yummy, the chicken wings were delicious and the deviled eggs were one of my favorites. There’s a parking lot right next to the Restaurant for $15 for the entire day and that made it really easy to get to the restaurant. If possible, call to make reservations to save yourself a seat because this place gets busy.

We love this place and sometimes come here for breakfast. It's clear that they love animals here, as soon as we arrived, they brought us a bowl of clean water. The late breakfasts are excellent

Dined here spontaneously on a Saturday night after leaving a late night event in search for food. We were lucky to arrive shortly before last call for the kitchen (around 10pm). We got the smoked salmon tartine, the pasta Bolognese, crudo, and the crispy saffron rice bites with tuna. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the crudo! We were joined by a few friends after we finished our meal and had some really great cocktails. The only red flag for us was that they closed much earlier than listed on Google (closed around midnight, Google says 1 am). They said they close early on slow nights and when routine cleanings are scheduled, so we felt a bit rushed to finish up and head out. Just an fyi in case anyone is expecting to go and stay until the listed close time.

I absolutely loved the vibe at this Zinqué location! Even though I was right in the heart of downtown LA, surrounded by towering buildings, the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I had been transported to a modern, cozy bistro tucked away in the suburbs. The ambiance is effortlessly chic, yet inviting—a perfect escape from the city’s energy. I arrived about an hour before closing, but you’d never know it based on the service. My waitress was fantastic—warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She gave me spot-on wine recommendations to pair with my meal and even shared some great local nightlife tips for after dinner. That kind of personalized touch makes all the difference! The food was outstanding, as always. I stuck with my go-to: steak & frites, and it was perfect. The steak was cooked exactly how I like it, and the fries were crispy, golden, and addictive. I paired it with a glass of red wine (I wish I remembered the name!) that complemented the meal beautifully. What truly made this visit extra special was getting to chat with the owners. The husband is French, his wife is American, and they are the nicest people! I even got to practice my French with them, which made the experience even more memorable. You can tell they’ve poured their passion into this place, and it absolutely shows. Overall, Zinqué is a must-visit in downtown LA. The food, the ambiance, the service, and the wonderful people behind it all make this place something truly special. I’ll definitely be back!
