I’ve been volunteering for A Just Harvest in the Evanston community for 2 almost 3 years and have found a second home here. Getting to meet and build relationships with the other volunteers as well as the pantry workers and community members has truly been a life changing experience I’ll treasure always. Working full time as an educator has briefly taken me away from volunteering but I hope to continue doing work with AJH for many years to come. Much love to Mama T., Ruben, John, Mary, Yoyo, and everyone else at the kitchen!
