It was easy to reserve, I as able to book 5 bikes from my phone and the confirmation page gave me the instructions to sign the waiver forms. The team at the pick up / drop off location were very helpful and knowledgable. We enjoyed the bike path around Mission Bay as well as the boardwalk on Mission Beach although that was more crowded at times.

We were 1/2 late for our reservation but Marquez got us situated. He helped with the boat and boating area orientation, local Knowlege on sand bars and police boat activity and fishing. We enjoyed the boating session. Next best thing to owning a boat is renting from action sports.

I would give zero stars if possible. We booked boat and did not receive an email to complete safety checks etc, disclaimer videos and info telling us what we needed to take the boat out. We arrived early to do this and we treated really badly. The guy taking payment was nothing short of rude, unhelpful. Didn’t apologise for the company’s shortcomings and told us to cancel if we didn’t like it. We cancelled and took a refund. Avoid this company. Travel to a more professional company. It’ll be worth it. I would be concerned to use this company. If the guy at reception is this poor and unprofessional I would not like to see what would happen if there was a real issue.

My family and I rented paddle boards from here this weekend. This is a great location to hit the bay in San Diego if you are looking for a relatively flat and calm spot to try Paddle boarding. The staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was very easy as you can park in the Bahia Hotel's parking lot. The rental hut is located at the west end of the hotel in the parking lot next to the beach - West of the Bahia Bell sternwheeler boat. We rented the paddle boards for 2 hours, and it was perfect. I highly recommend paddling to Barefoot Bar & Grill at Paradise Point and stopping for a bite to eat or drink. Enjoy!
