I’d call this a hidden gem, but I’d be lying. It’s perhaps the most popular spot in the city to take photos of the magnificent Chicago skyline. If you haven’t been there, you’ve certainly seen it on television shows. I like to go there anytime I want beautiful photos of the city on a nice day.

You’ll have to drive a bit out of the Chicago downtown area but the view is worth it as you seriously get to see the whole skyline along with the ocean & boats. I recommended (if you’ve got the time) to come later in the evening to see the lights come on but day time is good too. When I came it was actually quite cloudy, about to rain, and windy but the view was still great.

The weather was very nice when we visited here. And all areas were very clean, and although there were many other visitors here besides us, it was quiet. This was our first visit to Chicago, but if we have the chance, we would like to come back many times. ^^

Wonderful , just wonderful. A very pleasant walking path. 🚶‍♂️. Plenty of bench along the way. Wide, well maintained paths along Lake Michigan [really more like an inland sea].
