We went to the outdoor pool with our autistic son. He loved it until he saw the slide. He’s 8 years old non verbal with severe autism so we were scared he wouldn’t lay back properly with his arms crossed. He cried and cried because we couldn’t go up & down the slide because we’re overprotective. We ended up going home but it was a great experience. It’s hard getting out with a son with autism so thank y’all for an amazing facility and great staff for a wonderful experience. 10 out of 5 stars for sure.

This is in response to the negative comment as a regular YMCA member for years. The facility is nice and the employees are friendly. Every now and then some members seem to fill entitled to insist on rules that don’t meet the needs of all YMCA members, for example the pool temperature in the indoor pool should be set a temperature to allow for those swimming to not get overheated. The facility is clean, yet some members seem to want special privileges to sanitize locker rooms in a way that one may sanitize their home. I recommend those members considering building a pool at their home and a gym facility. Specifically I appreciate how the YMCA values ensuring that young children are learning to swim, which is a life skill that everyone needs to have, even if that means that the pool area has to be shared. Thanks for being awesome! We love the YMCA!

It blows my mind that they have a Gym that is never available to play basketball in because they are always using it for outside resources. What the heck is the point of being a member if I can’t use the basketball court?

Review oriented for adult user : Pros: Great treadmills include cable TV media screens, and enough and variety of cardio and weight lifting equipment. Friendly staff and clients, large indoor pool, spacious locker rooms. Not too crowded when i go- 1-3:30 pm (so I don't have to wait more than min for most machines) . Enough cardio machs at this time anyway. Music good and not overly loud.- Nice gym with organized scheduled of usage. There is a little pickleball play available. Lots of basketball times and bit of free play seems avl. Fairly extensive and high quality group work out classes-though Y wants them, and they are, quite full and not avail through-out day. Cons: Could use newer and some more workout machines. Crowded workout area especially after 4:30 pm. Only 1 of some foundational basic machines. This is fairly small gym. Sometimes children as young as 11 on the few machines available. Given its used for the large children's program, chlorine as needed, runs high. So pool is not available 4-7pm. Also it runs cold for therapeutic/fitness style use. Perhaps most negative for the adult day employed is after ~5 pm you can't feasibly get on these machines!!! So to use just the 4 (legs, abs, hips, arms) can be over 30 min of waiting!

I like the Finely YMCA. Always very clean with a very nice facility and friendly staff. The members at this location clean up after themselves, put weights back, and wipe down the equipment when they are finished. I love the atmosphere and the energy I get when training here. The gym can get very busy, and there will be lots of people. But I’ve never had a problem getting my workout done. Sharing equipment and asking someone if they would like to work in goes a long way. Good times.
