Randomly searched for a park nearby and had no idea about this hidden gem 😄 It kinda reminds me of a smaller version of Sweetwater Creek State Park but without the creek, historical monuments, and steep hills. It's peaceful & beautiful. Mildly elevated areas. One thing I didn't like was that the trails aren't marked with color sticks/posts like I'm used to. I am one that wonders onto a new trail not knowing lol. So I did get lost once. It would be nice to have a map to grab upon arrival.

This is a very quiet place early in the morning, the trails are fairly challenging, but also easy to navigate...can't really get lost (unless you keep backtracking!). The only drawback that I can see is the noise from the traffic on Camp Creek Pkwy.,and it's not that bad...you can still hear the various wildlife and the wind through the trees! Would be nice if a map was provided to fallow.
