What a great venue. We went here to watch some great jazz, and this place did not disappoint. There are so many Portland legends here. We bought the VIP tickets and enjoyed them, some delicious homemade BBQ and chocolate pound cake. The bar was open, and they made great drinks as well. The show was truly exceptional. Such great energy and amazing community support. We all had such a great time.

This was the first time we had been to the Alberta Abbey. Staff at the front door was kind and helpful. Our seats were in the balcony. View was great you could see from every seat, my only suggestion is to bring a seat cushion because the balcony seats are wood which did get a little uncomfortable after 2 hours. The bathrooms are clean and large. We plan to go to this venue more.

Everyone was so kind to me here and the show was incredible. I saw people mentioning the bar in the balcony seating, but I was able to sit at a taller chair towards the back and got a nice view! I'd say it's pretty affordable for what you get. Appreciate this venue very much! Will be back.

I swear I went to a funeral here once. Pretty sure I also saw a drag version of Golden Girls here, so we have a long relationship. But the recent history is priceless. This is a venue that actually has good seating - even for “American normal” physiques like mine. Good sound, AV services provide an extra layer of something going on during a show, but the best things about this place now is how they curate their performance options and how supportive of artists they are.

Alberta Abbey is a wonderful, cozy and intimate setting for any show. Fun drinks and snacks at the bar as well. Their summer '25 lineup has great shows including Saw The Musical which was a blast!
