I went here for Alki Art Fair and it was great! Lots of cool vendors and great music. The parking is really tight around here though, so consider taking public transportation on weekends, especially when there are events happening!

Alki Beach is such a lovely spot along the water with great views, easy walking, and plenty of fun activities abound. Of course this changes just slightly in the winter as the temperatures drop but that did not dissuade the Polar Plunge Club from gathering in February to brave the waters for a good cause! It was for this event in early 2020 that Sensebellum was honored to bring out one of our 30' geodesic domes to hold space (and warm heaters plus hot-coco!!) for all those who just took the swim. It was so cool to see people enjoy themselves but also marvel at the eye catching architecture inherent in a geodesic dome. Special thanks to the grounds crew as well as the event organizers for such a fun time!

The bathrooms are sketchy and the sink is usually clogged with sand. Sadly they are constantly vandalized. (Sorry Seattle- you can't enjoy something nice because a few bad apples keep spoiling it for the bunch.) There is an outdoor shower where you can rinse sand from your feet or whatever you got sandy. There's a high shower head and a low head, vertically stacked in line with one another, so really only one person can use this at a time.

5 Stars The Alki Bathhouse is an absolute gem! The location is perfect—right on the beach, offering incredible views of the water and the Seattle skyline. The space itself is clean, well-maintained, and ideal for hosting a variety of events. It has a charming, vintage feel with modern amenities, which makes it both nostalgic and practical. One of the best parts is the nearby fire pits! After a day at the Bathhouse or an event, it’s so relaxing to gather around a fire on the beach and take in the sunset. The combination of the Bathhouse and the fire pits makes this area a perfect spot for gatherings, celebrations, or just a peaceful day by the sea. Highly recommend!
