The man working there was really nice. He’s there to have at least a mere conversation with customers to share interests. As for the marketing, everything there was sold at a reasonable price and somewhat affordable. And of course he had an amazing collection of comic books of various types.

Stay away from this place! I was walking by with my family today, we are all comic nerds and we're like "cool, a comic shop" so we went in. We browsed for a few minutes, selection was okay, but nothing special. As we head for the door the dude comes from behind the counter and opens the door for us and says "free pics, free pics". I say "what do you mean?" And the dude says "most people come to a shop to buy things." Ha! What rude shit. Not worth going back to this place ever. Good luck with your shitty store and shitty attitude.

Ray is lovely. Amazing selection, and I'm able to get most of my special orders. Some gems in the back issue collection and at fair current market prices, not overpriced like other shops. Expect an "old school" comic book shop experience, don't expect boutique bookstore service.

Walked in here with a friend and the owner was incredibly hostile from the get go. Was only there for two minutes before he told us to leave as we didn’t buy anything within those two minutes. Never recommending this place to anyone. Far nicer independent comic stores in Denver that won’t spit at us for taking our time to purchase a graphic novel.

This is a fantastic place. The trade paperback and hardcover collection, in particular, is one of the strongest, most varied, and most interesting of any comic store (or book store) in our city. There are all the books you would expect, your Marvel Masterworks and your DC Archive Editions, your Essentials and your Showcases and your Epic Collections… but then there are weird, unexpected books that you won’t find anywhere else. There are plenty of great used comics, too, and they are situated comfortably on shelves at waist-level, easily accessible. Nothing too high or too low, like in some shops, so your knees and your back will be okay. Yes, now you know – I’m one of those older guys, who still enjoys reading about men in tights with special powers! But let’s focus here: besides being accessible, the back-issue prices are quite fair and reasonable. There are great deals to be had! Speaking of deals, don't forget to look in the sales bins or on the sales rack. There are some real treasures to be found there, and they are available for incredibly low prices. Poke around a bit; you’ll be pleasantly surprised. This store also has a great section of Absolute Editions, Artists Editions, oversized Omnibus volumes - you know, the Really Big Hardcovers that have become so popular in comics collecting lately. Again, this store has one of the best selections of these books when compared to other shops around town. Oh, and manga? And old comic-related magazines? And odd chapbooks, minicomics, and zines? And science-fiction and fantasy paperbacks? Yeah, he's got lots of that stuff, too! If you are building your own collection of the best comic-books ever printed (and the best comic-book books) ... this is the store for you. If you’re just mildly interested in the world of comics, just idly curious, this is a great store for that, too!
