We did a Snake River/ Columbia River Cruise. To be honest, it took a lot to convince me to go on a cruise. I love my wide open spaces. Aside from the travel to and from the cruise, which was absolutely abhorrent, The cruise itself was absolutely amazing in every respect. The staff, the accommodations, the food and the entertainment or excursion options were outstanding. With only only 185 passengers on our cruise along with the views as we went down the rivers made it very comfortable and personal. Not to mention the many people we got to meet and get to know which is impossible with a 5000 person ship. 200% recommend this Cruise line. Especially to anyone who thought they'd not ever want to go on a cruise.

We did the 10 night Northwest Pioneers on the Pride. The first 4 days rated more than 5 stars, it slipped a bit with an over achieving manager joining our cruise, which seemed to create tension on the ship. There was also conflicting instructions between the corporate office and the management on the ship, with regards to our post cruise stay and Hells Canyon trip. The trip up Hells Canyon is a must see. We really enjoyed the food which was excellent! The shore excursion where very well selected and engaging. The bus drivers who accompanied us on the whole trip where great! Our room was comfortable, clean and had lots of storage with a balcony! I unfortunately have allergies so had to wear a mask due to the heavily scented air fresheners that they use on board. It would be nice if they switched to unscented. Entertainment was great. Really enjoyed the Nez Perce story teller/historian.

We took a week cruise on American Cruise Lines. What a treat! We loved the experience. Our rooms had individual balconies with great views. The dances were fun with good drinks. The lectures were great. We had fun visiting museums and parks. We met great people there. And the dining was scrumptious. We are very tempted to take another trek with them.
