Just finishing up my first summer having my boat in dry-storage at Sundance. If you're looking into this service, I cannot recommend it enough. Not dealing with the boat ramp makes boating so much more enjoyable and is worth every penny. They have an easy-to-use app to launch/stow your boat. Show up and the boat is in the water, ready to go. When you're done, tie up and walk away. The folks handling the boats were friendly and always respectful in keeping the boat clean as they get in/out. If you're willing to pay a little extra in order to avoid the boat ramp, this is definitely a service worth giving a shot.

Sundance Marina is an Excellent Marina and Boat Storage facility. Have used Sundance Marina now Four straight years and it is one of the Best decisions ever made. I’m very appreciative of the Office Staff who I’ve contact frequently throughout the week to have my boat moved to various locations either to the yard for work I want to perform on the boat or to the water for a great day of boating on the Columbia River. The Service Department Staff and Maintenance Crews, who have done extensive work and modifications to my boat are one of the Best in the Portland Oregon area. Kudos ! To the Sundance Yard Crew who are always available to assist me after they have moved the boat to a work dolly … charging batteries, electrical cords for cleaning/polishing equipment, water hoses for wash downs or out of the water engine running. And don’t forget about the on-the-water Club House with attached Swimming Pool available for individual enjoyment or Club house parties and Barbecues. In Summary !! If you’re tired of Winterizing your boat for Winter or tired of Launching and Retrieving your boat from a crowded launch area that we have all experienced, then Sundance Marina is for you, and No I’m not getting paid to say all of these fabulous attributes. I’m just very appreciative of this facility even though I have to drive approximately an hour each way coming from Damascus Oregon. It’s certainly well worth it to me !!!

I have stored my 21’ ski boat at this facility for about 4 years since 2021. Overall the service as far as the marina is concerned is quite good. The phone app works well and the boat is always on the water on schedule and put away promptly . The courtesy racks are also a very nice feature and the front desk always helpful to accommodate your needs. (If I had any complaints it would be occasional dirty footprints left behind in my boat after they put her in the water. ) Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing about the service department. First of all , since I did not purchase my boat from Sundance, I am not a priority even if I am a tenant, and more often than not , they do not have time to service my boat during boating season. Secondly the one time they were able to fit me in …I was charged $1,065 dollars for a basic oil change. I have a 21’ boat and this seems outrageous to me even by boating standards. When I objected they told me I had requested a full engine and drive service (I had not). When they finally agreed that I had not requested a full engine and drive service they only deducted $132 from the invoice stating that an oil change actually costs $933.00 . So if you are going to get your boat serviced at this Marina I would suggest you get the estimate in writing up front. I did not request an estimate for an oil change and I was on the hook for $1000 bucks with no recourse.
