I love shopping here! I stopped by the other day looking for a nice Pinot Grigio. (I don't want to mislabel anyone) but the nice gentleman with red hair and a beard along with the African American gentleman wearing a bandana were so helpful! I'm looking forward to the weekend so they can help me find more delicious wines. 100% recommend this store to everyone!

This would be a one-star review except for the fact that I’ve been coming here many years and have never had an experience before like I did tonight. I walked in at 7:04 (not realizing they were closing) and immediately came face to face with a small red headed and bearded employee I didn’t recognize. Looked like Mitchell from Modern Family. He literally laughed in my face and said “we’re closed! So-oorry!” It was so over the top I thought he was joking and asked if he was serious. His response “yup, bye! Unless you wanna pay me $20/hour”. Stunningly unprofessional and rude behavior towards a customer who merely didn’t realize you were closing. A simple “sorry, we closed at 7” would have sufficed nicely. The glee he took in hustling me out as he laughed in my face and gave his snarky “bye!” was ridiculous. This little man does not need to be working in a customer facing role. There was another customer leaving with her purchase as I walked in and she told me he had been super odd with her as well. Frankly it looked like he was practically shoving her out the door. AWM, your prices are much higher than Tower but I’ve never minded because of the great people there and the convenience of being right in Ansley Mall. As long as that jerk is working there I think I’ll stick with Tower. Which is still open as I write this, an hour after getting thrown out of AWM. EDIT: based on the outstanding response from Adam I’m updating this to 5 stars because the rest of the great folks at AWM don’t deserve to get dinged by one part-timer having a bad day.

Have been coming here for years. I can honestly say I’ve never bought a bad bottle of wine here, and they put serious thought into what they sell.
