Googled Kayak Rentals online because I needed something to do this past weekend & stumbled upon Aqua Adventures; I was so happy that there was availability online for Sunday morning at 9:15am, I know booking two days prior can sometimes be a headache since it was such a last min plan and it’s summer. Navigating through the website was easy and booking was a breeze! I paid online, received the email confirmation and was good to go. I chose a tandem Kayak - 2 hour experience for my Daughter and I. Getting to the location of Aqua Adventures was quite easy using the navigation on my phone- once there guests can park in a paid parking lot or guests can park across the street in the dirt lot (for free), and there is also street parking. Check in process was pretty fast, I confirmed my reservation in the front, gave my license for the front desk to hold until I return the kayak and then was guided to the dock where I was instructed how to get on and off the kayak and locations where I can stop in the sand to relax or take a break- which we did and enjoyed our sandwiches. Overall experience was amazing! The price for the kayak rental was reasonable; the staff at Aqua Adventures were extremely nice, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcomed. I will definitely book with this company again and will tell my friends.

Great experience we had as a family of four! None of us have Kayaked before. The rental process was smooth with no line on a Sunday morning. The 1.5 hrs flied by quickly as we enjoyed sealions 10 ft away and paddling race. The only recommendation for the business is to replace the worn-out water guards on the paddles that were leaking water through.

My friends and I had the most fabulous morning with Aqua Adventures! The shop has a perfect location, the staff is friendly and personable, and the options are great! You’ll get great intros if you’re new to the activities as well. I got to ride an aqua bike and paddle board, see sea lions swimming and basking, and learn about the history of the area and animals from our guides. I can’t recommend more for a great way to experience San Diego

We go every year at least and especially in July for daughters birthday. We enjoy every minute to customer service to quality kayaks. Reasonable prices.we’ve even seen dolphins and jelly fish.

My husband and I did the Mission Bay Wildlife Kayaking Tour together and had the pleasure of having Pat as our tour guide. Since we were the only ones signed up for this time slot, it felt like we had our own private tour. Pat was a great tour guide and very patient with helping us get up to speed with our kayaking skills since it had been several years since we kayaked. Once we were out on the tour, we got to see some great views of the wildlife and the Bay. We also got some great photos taken of us during the tour, which will make great memories. Very fun and perfect summertime San Diego activity. Highly recommend!
