This has been my daily hike/walk since it opened. I actually watched the trail being developed and was elated when it was completed a couple of years ago. It’s a super easy trail that slowly winds its way up and along the mountain side with views of the Salt Lake Valley the entire way. From the North trailhead on Lakeline it is one mile to the high point (very gradual 450 ft elevation gain) and another two miles to the end of the Southern entry point of the trail. You can make your way down to Lakeline and loop back to your car or retrace your steps on the trail. There isn’t a parking lot and the trailhead is easy to miss (If you end up in the cul-de-sac you have gone too far. It’s about 300 yards to the South) There are usually a few cars parked on the street near the trailhead making it easier to spot. I usually hike up to the highest point, which provides an amazing view and a wonderful place to meditate, before returning back down the way I came, making the round trip 2 miles. This is a lovely, simple, meandering hike that is good for the soul. There are equal number of folks on Mtn bikes so be aware. I have found hikers and bikers to be extremely courteous making this trail ideal for both. Most days I feel like I am the only one not being accompanied by a canine friend. They seem to love it too.

This is a new trail but there is no actual trailhead with parking so you have to park in the road.
