It was a lot of fun! The people there were great, the cosplay was fun, and the vendors/artists were great to look at. The one downside was the price of the parking. The price for the parking has gone up over the past few years. but I guess that is to be expected.

Completly unorganized convention and WAY too expensive. Guests are always either late or they cancel all together. A few years ago I attended and it was a mess. The guest I wanted to see was 4 hours late and there was no compensation at all. What was the point of the VIP Pass? Also, the location of this event needs to CHANGE! In the middle of downtown Atlanta at the world congress center? Roads are always blocked off, traffic is horrendous, and it's very difficult to find a place to park.

My only issue is having a slim comic book creator guest lineup

They spend more money trying to advertise this event than actually caring about their attendees. You want a signature with someone? Well good luck, cause you might not actually get it. I attended on Saturday. I arrived at 10:30am to head to my photo OP that was scheduled for 10:45am. After that, I headed to the celebrities booth only to see their banner was being ripped down at 11am and replaced with a guest only attending on Saturday. I am fully aware guests cancel all the time due to scheduling conflicts, and that is fine. My problem is this was pre-planned and I was never told the celebrity was basically not attending Saturday. I wrote an email to the convention expressing my frustrations and they basically blamed me saying it was my fault for not checking their both. How would I have had time to check the booth when I was heading to the photo OP exactly when I arrived? They provide photo OP schedules online, why isn't their booth times also on the website or even the app? The app even said this celebrity was signing at 10am with breaks, so that implies they would be there all day. There was no end time listed, just that signing started at 10am. They are also not upfront with signature costs. I got another celebrities signature that day. The website says $100, but the celebrity charges an extra $40 if you want something specific signed. Also fine, but why was this also not listed on the website? Other conventions like GalaxyCon clearly state price difference for signature costs so people can prepare. Yes, there's ATMs on site, but had I not had the extra cash, I would have had to of gotten out of line to grab the extra $40, pay an ATM fee, and then wait in line AGAIN. I do not want to name either of these celebrities as it's 100% not their fault. It's the conventions fault for not providing all information they possibly could.
