Thrifters beware!!! do not think you can go into the store and stay for 10 minutes. This is an epic place to stop in for a good cause. Kitties are friendly. Staff is helpful. The selection is cosmic and spe-Cat-ular.

Such a fun addition to the North Loop/Airport area. I've been supporting and shopping at the APA locations for years, but this is the closest to me. I can get lost browsing in here. Great items that benefit a wonderful cause. Staff is always friendly and they always have something I can't leave without. I also prefer to take my donations here to help the animals and to give someone else the joy I have finding items.

There is a saying. "You may forget what people say but you will remember how they made you feel." My animal loving friend died and I knew she would want her possessions to go to a place that would benefit animals. I washed everything and made it as marketable as possible. Then I loaded 8 large boxes into my truck. I got the first one through the door and set it near the counter. I looked up and was about to ask for some help because I saw a young man standing behind the counter staring at his phone. He turned and said. "Bring that over to this side" in a bored and bossy tone. Not even one thanks from him. I declined to follow his instructions. I unloaded the other 7 boxes by myself. You would think that after the 3rd one someone might have offered to help. Nope. A young woman did approach me at the end and thank me but the damage had been done. Next time I'll find a place that actually appreciates donations.
