Kari took great care of me during my first time at Barcadia. I had a few bar snacks and I LOVE the sour ale selection here. My beer glass didn't even reach half empty before Kari made sure I had a refill on the way. I found the bar to be an easy going all are welcome environment and I got to see a good friend of mine while I was there! Thank you to Kari for the hospitality and for creating a great experience that I will absolutely return for!

My recent visit for drinks with staff was extremely disappointing. Despite a modest order (a round of shots, 6 wings, 1 beer, and 2 margaritas), our bill of $146.73 included an automatic 25% gratuity for a party of four at lunchtime, which was unexpected and excessive. To make matters worse, I presented a $150 gift card, and they not only took the entire card but also placed a $69 hold on my account. The waiter was rude, the margaritas were terrible, and the overall service was trash. We spent far too much money for an awful experience. If you decide to go, double-check your bill carefully.

My opinion is that the new ownership is missing the mark on this. Barcadia is a great local bar. $9 for a house liquor moves it away. My advise, keep the bar as is, but figure out how to attract traffic. Knox needs a great local spot To respond to owner who responded that i gave the wrong number... you are wrong... $7.5 and they add $1.5 for the mixer. My advise.. listen first

Old school meets new school at Barcadia. From Gen Z, to Baby Boomers, all can be found having a great time, and lively conversations here. Definitely in need of a revamp, which I hear is coming soon, however it will maintain its original charm, with a few upscale perks. Although smaller than some other arcade spots in town the affordable games, food and cocktails along with live music on certain nights makes it an excellent option. If you’re an outdoor person they offer seating for you as well. Dallas can be quite warm day or night, and you’ll feel it, if they have the garage doors open to the patio, so dress accordingly. You’ll enjoy the staff who go out of their way to make every guest feel at home. Parking can be tricky in the area if their lot is full. I’m sure my rating will go up after the remodel, however it’s worth enjoying now. You just might run into me. XOXO LORENZO!
