The legend Barnes & Noble, located in Crabtree mall at 4325 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612 Is an excellent bookstore . I’m really glad that actual bookstores still exist. As with online reading and downloading they’ve almost become obsolete, but not Barnes & Noble! Their stock was great. Displays looked wonderful, and the store was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful

Good selection of books, but in a very busy area, especially right next to the mall. This store remodeled recently, so it can be tricky to find books now if you’re used to the previous layout. A couple problems I’ve encountered after these years- Recently I’ve been looking for a particular philosophy book, and the bookseller searched their system to find they did have 1 in stock. The book was nowhere to be found; I asked about 2 weeks later and still not in the right area. I also had an unpleasant customer service experience where the cashier did not even greet me and did not offer me a bag for my purchase. I will continue to shop here because it’s the closest location to me.
