Keoni is hands down the best instructor I’ve taken class with. His energy is contagious, and every session leaves me feeling stronger and more motivated. I love the music he chooses, it’s always upbeat and keeps the momentum going. His teaching style is both fun and intentional. He goes out of his way to create a supportive community in class, encouraging us to smile at each other or give high-fives, which brings such a positive vibe to the room. I also really appreciate how attentive he is to form, he consistently corrects posture when needed, which shows how much he cares about both safety and progress. Honestly, I think all instructors should hold themselves to the same high standard he sets. My only wish is that he taught at more studios!

Amber was very welcoming and gave me some helpful tips before class. She was a great cheerleader as well, encouraging me every step of the way. I appreciated her so much as it was my first time back in the gym in a really long time. Highly recommend, was great workout.

Took the Friday class with John. This one star review says it all. Very sad experience, as a Barry’s regular, I know all the moves and what to expect - but John was awful to me during class. Thanks John- enjoy your Friday, hopefully you find something to bring you joy.

It was my first BBC and what an epic experience. If you're staying in NYC go to this branch. They offer an exceptional service with an excellent personal experience. 3 years ago I ruptured my achilles tendon and have been coming back to exercise bit by bit. I do lots of weight lifting and conditioning but not alot of running. BBC with John (Saturday 9.20am class) really opened up my potential on both the tred and the bench. A fantastic combination of challenging upper body circuits with running was just the ticket. Plus... you are surrounded by other people who are motivated and determined. What more could you want! Just to add - if you are a little nervous about cleanliness, this studio is spotless. So are the bathrooms and showers. Get on down there and give it a go. You won't regret it.
