Love! Love! Love! This place in on top of my list of places to go when it’s hot as hell outside and you want something fun and refreshing to do! It’s great for the kids, they have pool water levels varying from 3 inches to 12 feet deep. So it’s fun for everyone! They have water slides which is amazing. And a deep dive board to jump from. It’s full of fun things, you’ll never get bored. I went on a day which was free, but they usually charge $5 per adult and $2 per child entree fees. Definitely recommend this water facility on a hot summers day here in Austin.

I had a very weird visit to this pool. First off, bring cash. The kiosks that accept cards don’t work consistently and instead of the staff being accommodating for there technical failure the manager insisted that I pack my 3 children up and go to an atm for the $11(total)fee. He was insistent that he couldn’t do anything and thanks to another disgruntled family he finally found a solution after calling his supervisors. However this was after being outside for 20 mins. Finally when we got into pool it was dirty . I’ve been to a few park district pools but this was by far the dirtiest. There was quite a bit of dirt and bird feather debris in and around the pool. Also the bathroom made me hope my kids wouldn’t need a potty break. I was there at the opening of the day so I was surprised at how untidy it was, especially with them being hard pressed for their fees. This will be my first and last visit and it sucks because I was looking into partaking in their aquatics programming for my kids. I can be understanding about the debris but the staff were very unpleasant.

Just be aware that the diving board is rarely open and the lifeguards don't know what is going on. Before coming, I called to confirm if the diving board would be open and the receptionist said it was. I asked if it would be closed at any point in the afternoon (last year it was intermittently open due to lack of lifeguards) and they said it would not be closed. We arrived 30 minutes later. Not only is there a lifeguard class using the diving pool area, but the diving board is broken with missing bolts. Very disappointed in the management at this pool.

Very disappointed! I feel their should have been more notice on how the pools conditions is. Very limited swimming space. Everything is pretty much closed off. Lifeguards are limited and very rude. The pool side that is open and very dirty. Hope they do better before summer is here.

Upon Arrival staff was rudely reminding us the place wasn't open but when I emailed the aquatics office they said they opened at 11AM I even checked online and they said they opened at 11AM I guess they changed it after I planned a visit there and didn't reach out to inform me, they had my contact information. • There are no leafy trees above the tables, falsely advertised in the photos just ashy bark and branches. •They asked if we had glass in our cooler several times after I told them NO they could check it, I don't drink. •The staff yelled at us most of the time we were there, very unpleasant. No smiles, no feeling safe. Stone faces. •The payment person kept making it seem like we couldn't pay, it was so embarrassing! He was very unprofessional, wasn't making sense, sounding like he was trying to double charge us. •Water was warm •Burned my feet a few times as well •Lily pad area was closed, basically a whole extra pool •pools are small and poorly designed •slides are ok, thats the 1 star, but they don't land into water just hot concrete exits •crowded no space to actually swim, just jumping in place lol •Stolen pool toys 3 to be exact •Tables are unusually huge and weirdly placed should be some in the back or side area as well. We were basically in the walk way 🤦‍♀️ time for another upgrade. Smh bring back the Vintage Austin Bartholomew Pool !
