If you looking to chill and enjoy a good time with your friends or partner, this is the to go place, it’s amazing for People who suffer anxiety because it literally relaxes you completely, the bathrooms and changing stations are clean, the thermal pools and saunas are nice and clean, the cafe is relaxing and they have some drink options that you can try. Also they protect your privacy which makes you feel appreciated and protected. This is my 3rd time here and definitely going back

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I think this could help others. My friend took me here for my birthday for a full body massage with full pool access, and overall it was disappointing. Within 10–15 minutes of leaving my $40 reusable water bottle on a locker room bench, it was gone. I alerted staff right away and they looked around, but it was never found. I take responsibility for leaving it out, but it was clearly taken—so be warned, don’t leave anything unattended. The massage itself was fine but nothing memorable, especially given the price. My friend had a great experience, but mine felt underwhelming and not worth the cost. The café was another letdown: $70 for two glasses of wine, four dumplings, and a few extremely salty green beans. For that price, I’d expect full table service, but it’s counter service. Nothing felt worth the cost. Lastly, cleanliness was questionable. I noticed fingernail clippings and hair in the pools, which was off-putting even for NYC. Overall, if you’re looking for a quality, relaxing experience, I’d recommend going elsewhere. If you do come, keep a close eye on your belongings.

I have visited a bathhouse in Strausborg France and another in Zurich Switzerland. I was so excited to find this place in NYC. The concept definitely is more popular in Europe but I found Bathhouse Flatiron to be a great experience. You will likely read other reviews that complain about the towels or how loud it is. The towels are just typical gym towels. They are not intended to be used as a cover up, they are intended for use in the saunas, steam room and to dry off. There are plenty of towels everywhere, you can get a fresh towel anytime you need it. We came at 9:00pm on a Saturday night. It was very busy and to be expected it was a little loud. I am sure that if you came earlier in the day or during the week it wouldn’t be as loud or busy. We had no issues. The pools were much more crowded than the saunas or steam room. It was a good time and we will be back.
