Sanctuary is my go-to when visiting Manhattan. It’s clean, comfy, has positive vibes, and the location ticks all the boxes (surrounded by good food, night life, train station, etc.). Best of all, the staff. Super helpful and quick with all questions and guidance. The rooms have a nice set up and the kitchen makes it easy for anyone needing to whip up a meal or two. I especially love the little spiritual touches like the names of the rooms and the books they place through. Hits the heart in all the right ways. Stay, you will be happy you did 🙏🏼♥️🙌🏼.

Had a great experience here! Convenient location and had everything we needed. The room had a kitchenette and felt very spacious for NYC standards. The rooms are all named after wellness, meditation etc. Easy to get around the east village. It’s a vegetarian place so they ask that you don’t cook meat. Would definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and huge, it was really great. The kitchen was very useful and well equipped. It was just missing a cutting board and a peeler in my opinion (since we cooked mostly vegetables) and it would be even more perfect. The hotel was very well situated, close to the subway and a lot of restaurants or places to eat. Even some places to do groceries shopping if you plan to cook. Service was perfect, any time we had a small issue or request it was replied to very quickly and perfectly. I definitely recommend this place! Just be careful and know that the place is vegetarian if you plan to cook there :) The air conditioning (heating at our time of the year) was indeed very noisy, but nothing that earplugs can't stop. Just think to bring earplugs! I don't think I would have slept well without earplugs.

A peaceful place with good energy and friendly staff. In a well-connected neighborhood. There are plenty of stores and restaurants (Katz’s deli, Uncle Sam Pizza, Remedy Diner). It is really worth staying here while visiting NY.
