Update: Second time coming here, the hot & spicy barely had any of the tasty spicy sauce that we love. Quite disappointing. Still friendly service and fresh, albeit tiny chicken wings. Original: We have a bb.q near our place that is a favorite takeaway option, but our branch doesn’t have the Hot Mala or the Wings of Fire. We were keen to try these flavors at the Ann Arbor branch. Verdict is that both the Hot Mala and Wings of Fire are good, wings are fresh (a bit on the smaller side) and the batter is crispy even with the sauce coating. That said the heat level is quite similar to the Hot & Spicy, which is our favorite one. Restaurant was clean and comfortable. Service was good and friendly, just a little long to wait for the order to come out despite the place not being that busy, but I know they fry everything fresh so it’s understandable.

This place is phenomenal. I was in town all the way from Alabama And my mom told me to try this place that she loved so I thought why not. Be prepared for a wait if you don’t call or order ahead, it does take some time but that’s because the chicken is fresh and cooked thoroughly. Never really had chicken this crispy and flavorful probably in my life. The thing that I like the most was all the flavors that you can choose from in different styles of chicken you can get. They really blew me away and I love how everything comes packed in a nice little box. Very neat and organized and the chicken stays fresh for quite some hours. This place is a must if you’re in the area

This was my fourth visit, and once again, BBQ Chicken did not disappoint. The chicken was incredibly fresh and perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy on the inside. It’s impressive how consistent the quality and flavor are every time I come. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

We were immediately greeted upon entry. The restaurant was clean and friendly. We were told that there would be an 25 to 30 minute wait for food to come out. We were fine with waiting it really only took about 20 minutes. They serve water. By the time we left every table was full. They did not seem bothered (meaning they were able to keep up with orders). They food was delicious and was reasonable priced. We ordered the boneless in secret sauce and the original wings with a side of fries $37
