We booked this restaurant at 8 pm. on a heavy rain night since we just had a late lunch. When we arrived the table was already set full of many Korean side dishes that we could always ask for refill. BBQ beef dishes were large and tasty. Staffs were very attentive to details and always check on us if needed anything.

Good traditional food but the pig foot serving size is small. Employees are a little lifeless but this place is a good place for good quality food.

The braised monkfish and shrimp fried rice with squid were amazing. We also had the seafood pancake, shrimp shamai, rock shrimp and calamari. Everything was outstanding. After a long day at work this place has an amazing atmosphere is calming. The service is as it would be in Seoul. To get their attention make eye contact and they will come over. If I could give more stars I would.

This is one of my favorite spots in Ann Arbor. At lunch I love the Bibimbap or the Bulgogi BBQ Combo. At dinner the Korean BBQ platter is delicious. The variety of the ban chan served at the start is so tasty. Don't sleep on the Seafood Pancake! The staff are always so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

ALLERGY FRIENDLY ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Rating: 5/5 Stars** **Highly recommended for everyone, especially those with food allergies seeking a safe and delicious dining experience.** Seoul Garden in Ann Arbor has now earned my loyalty through not one, but two outstanding dining experiences that showcase exactly how restaurants should handle food allergies. As someone with an egg allergy, finding restaurants that truly understand allergen management can be challenging, but Seoul Garden sets the gold standard. The owner's approach to handling my egg allergy has been nothing short of exemplary on both visits. Her knowledge and attention to detail are impressive - she personally ensures that cooks wipe down all surfaces and thoroughly clean the stir fry pans to prevent any cross-contamination. This level of care demonstrates genuine understanding of food allergies rather than just going through the motions. During our first visit, when we called ahead to discuss suitable options, they went above and beyond by providing detailed information about every item we asked about and even sent us package information for ingredients. This proactive approach immediately put us at ease and showed their commitment to diner safety. Seoul Garden provided my introduction to Korean BBQ, and they couldn't have set the bar higher. The restaurant's immaculate cleanliness and beautiful interior design create the perfect atmosphere for both intimate dinners and group celebrations. The attention to detail in the restaurant's presentation matches their attention to food safety. The service quality is exceptional - there's virtually no wait time, and the staff provides excellent assistance with grilling and serving the meats. Their attentiveness never feels intrusive, striking the perfect balance between helpful guidance and allowing you to enjoy your meal. The combo plate for two is genuinely substantial - we discovered it could easily feed three people. The generous portions caught us completely off guard in the best way possible, making appetizers entirely unnecessary. Every dish we tried was delicious, showcasing authentic flavors and quality ingredients. What sets Seoul Garden apart is the genuine care they show for their guests' needs and safety. In a dining landscape where many restaurants view allergen requests as an inconvenience, Seoul Garden treats them as an opportunity to provide exceptional service. The owner's personal involvement and expertise make all the difference. Whether you're new to Korean BBQ or a seasoned enthusiast, Seoul Garden delivers an outstanding experience. The restaurant is ideal for introducing family and friends to Korean cuisine, with staff who are patient and knowledgeable about helping newcomers navigate the menu and grilling process. Seoul Garden represents everything a restaurant should be - delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service, and genuine care for guest safety and satisfaction. For diners with food allergies, this restaurant demonstrates that eating out can be both safe and enjoyable when proper protocols and genuine care are in place. After two fantastic experiences, Seoul Garden has earned a permanent spot on our list of favorite restaurants. We'll continue returning and enthusiastically recommending it to others. This is how all restaurants should operate, and Seoul Garden deserves recognition for setting such a high standard.
