Outstanding faculty and beautiful facility… a very welcoming environment for all…

I had a poor experience here. Tried out a contemporary movement class for all levels. The teacher seemed more into dancing her choreography than teaching it to the different levels of dancers in front of her. It reflected no understanding of teaching to different levels and bodies .

BBT is a gem in the East Bay. They have a variety of Ballet Classes, nice big studios, and great teachers who are knowledgable and welcoming. I finally found my dance home on this side of the bridge! I would like to see live accompaniment in the adult beginning classes, not just the advanced/company classes, however. It makes a huge difference

The West Berkeley location has much nicer studios than the old location, which almost makes up for being so far from UC Berkeley campus!
