0/5 - soulless corporation that bought out the local ice rink and increased prices. THE REASON FOR THE HIGH REVIEWS IS DUE TO PREVIOUS LOCAL OWNERSHIP!!! Do NOT trust the so-called “local guide” who goes to one public skate and likes the now mid-experience. These “people” do not feel the effects as terribly as people who continually go to this rink to develop Figure Skating or Ice Hockey. Youth athletics is at risk to arbitrary price increases and this company (Black Bear) prices out people who can’t afford these ridiculous charges. A rink that was once the towns hub for casual, competitive, and professional development turned into a sterile-corpo junk rink. Any serious athlete wanting to develop their skills and performance will be seriously affected. Private Equity destroys local scenes and discourages the expansion of a wonderful experience, driving out lower income families. It is a tragedy that the Ann Arbor Ice cube is now under Black Bear. Honestly it’s a miracle Perani’s is still there thankfully. Rinks should not be changing once highly affordable prices to ridiculous ranges to make a smaller profit while losing more customers. What a disappointment.

Great spot to take the family ice skating. Lots of parking, a quick check in, grab your rental skates, and on the ice you go. Staff is polite and the place is clean. Will definitely be back!

Very nice hockey rink. Well maintained, clean, large locker rooms with showers. 3 rinks, two standard hockey size one Olympic size. All have hockey benches and penalty boxes. On-site pro shop has decent prices. Snack bar isnt open very often but a restaurant is apparently coming soon.

Do not play your hockey here unless you like biased referees and management that does not care about their players or their spectators. It’s also not clean at all, ever, if that is something that bothers you.
